As of June 9, winter wheat headed was at 89% vs. 83% last week and 86% average. Harvest was at 12% complete vs. 6% last week and 6% average. Winter wheat’s crop condition rating dropped 2% to 49% g/e, 34% fair, and 19% p/vp.

As of June 9, spring wheat planting was at 98% complete vs. 94% last week and 96% average. Spring wheat emerged was 87% vs. 78% last week and 83% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating fell 2% lower to 73% g/e, 25% fair, and 3% poor.

As of June 9, corn planting was at 95% complete vs. 91% last week and 95% average. Corn emerged was 85% vs. 74% last week and 84% average. Corn’s crop condition rating dropped 1% to 74% g/e, 21% fair, and 5% p/vp.

As of June 9, soybean planting was at 87% complete vs. 78% last week and 84% average. Soybeans emerged were at 70% vs. 55% last week and 66% average. Soybeans crop condition rating was 72% g/e, 24% fair, and 4% p/vp.

As of June 9, US sunflower planting was at 62% complete vs. 38% last week and 56% average. ND is 75% complete vs. 50% last week and 66% average.

As of June 9, North Dakota’s canola planting was 93% complete vs. 81% last week and 91% average. Canola emerged was at 63% vs. 46% last week and 59% average. Canola’s crop condition rating was 67% g/e, 18% fair, and 15% p/vp.
