As of Sept. 29, winter wheat planting was at 39% complete vs. 25% last week and 38% average. Winter wheat emerged was at 14% vs. 4% last week and 13% average.

As of Sept. 29, corn dented was at 96% vs. 92% last week and 95% average. Mature corn was at 75% vs. 61% last week and 70% average. Corn harvest was at 21% complete vs. 14% last week and 21% average. Corn’s crop condition rating decreased 1% to 64% g/e, 24% fair, and 12% p/vp.

As of Sept. 29, soybeans dropping leaves were at 81% vs. 65% last week and 73% average. Soybean harvest was at 26% complete vs. 13% last week and 18% average. Soybeans’ crop condition rating was unchanged at 64% g/e, 25% fair, and 11% p/vp.

As of Sept. 29, North Dakota’s sunflowers ray flowers dry were at 96% vs. 91% last week and 95% average. Bracts turned yellow were at 82% vs. 70% last week and 84% average. Bracts turned brown were at 46% vs. 31% last week and 54% average. The sunflower crop condition rating decreased 2% to 66% g/e, 27% fair, and 7% p/vp.

As of Sept. 29, North Dakota’s canola harvest was at 79% complete vs. 69% last week and 84% average.
