As of June 22, 96% of the nation’s winter wheat crop was headed vs 93% last week and 96% average. Harvest was 19% complete vs. 10% last week and 28% average. The winter wheat crop condition rating decreased 3% to 49% g/e, 32% fair, and 19% p/vp.

As of June 22, spring wheat emergence was estimated at 93% vs 89% last week and 97% average. Spring wheat headed was at 17% vs. 4% last week and 18% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating decreased 3% to 54% g/e, 31% fair, and 15% p/vp.

As of June 22, corn emergence was estimated at 94% vs 87% last week and 94% average. Corn silking was at 4% vs. 3% average. Corn’s crop condition rating decreased 2% to 70% g/e, 24% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of June 22, 96% of the nation’s soybean crop was planted vs 93% last week and 97% average. Soybean emergence was 90% vs. 84% last week and 90% average. Soybean blooming was at 8% vs. 7% average. The soybean crop condition rating was unchanged at 66% g/e, 27% fair, and 7% p/vp.

As of June 22, 91% of the nation’s sunflower crop was planted vs. 78% last week and 91% average. 95% of North Dakota’s sunflowers had been planted vs. 89% last week and 92% average. The first crop condition rating for North Dakota sunflowers was at 57% g/e, 41% fair, and 2% poor.

As of June 22, North Dakota canola emergence was at 92% vs. 70% last week and 90% average. Canola’s crop condition rating increased 7% to 68% g/e, 27% fair, and 5% p/vp.
