As of July 5, the nation’s winter wheat harvest was 59% complete vs. 48% last week and 51% average. Winter wheat’s crop condition rating was unchanged at 26% g/e, 27% fair and 47% p/vp.

As of July 5, 54% of the nation’s spring wheat was headed vs. 32% last week and 54% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating decreased 2% to 57% g/e, 36% fair, and 7% p/vp.

As of July 5, corn silking was at 16% vs. 9% last week and 14% average. Corn in dough was at 3% vs. 2% average. Corn’s crop condition rating was left unchanged at 67% g/e, 25% fair, and 8% p/vp.

As of July 5, soybean blooming was at 34% vs. 19% last week and 28% average. Setting pods was at 9% vs. 4% last week and 6% average. Soybeans’ crop condition rating dropped 1% to 64% g/e, 28% fair, and 8% p/vp.

As of July 5, North Dakota’s canola blooming was at 62% vs. 25% last week and 55% average. Coloring was at 4% vs. 1% average. Canola’s crop condition rating decreased 19% to 48% g/e, 46% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of July 5, North Dakota’s sunflower emergence was 97% vs. 94% last week and vs. 91% average. The sunflower crop condition rating decreased 14% to 49% g/e, 48% fair, and 3% p/vp.
