As of July 6, the nation’s winter wheat crop harvest was 53% complete vs. 37% last week and 54% average. The winter wheat crop condition rating was unchanged at 48% g/e, 34% fair, and 18% p/vp.

As of July 6, spring wheat headed was at 61% vs. 38% last week and 58% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating decreased 3% to 50% g/e, 35% fair, and 15% p/vp.

As of July 6, corn silking was at 18% vs. 8% last week and 15% average. Corn in dough was at 3% vs. 2% average. Corn’s crop condition rating increased 1% to 74% g/e, 21% fair, and 5% p/vp.

As of July 6, 96% of the nation’s soybean emergence was 96% vs. 94% last week and 98% average. Soybean blooming was at 32% vs. 17% last week and 31% average. Soybeans setting pods was at 8% vs. 3% last week and 6% average. The soybean crop condition rating was unchanged (for the 4th week in a row) at 66% g/e, 27% fair, and 7% p/vp.

As of July 6, North Dakota’s sunflower crop condition rating increased 3% to 67% g/e, 30% fair, and 3% p/vp.

As of July 6, North Dakota’s canola crop condition rating decreased 4% to 67% g/e, 25% fair, and 8% p/vp.
