As of June 14, 95% of the nation’s winter wheat was headed vs. 92% last week and 91% average. Winter wheat harvest was 25% complete vs. 11% last week and 13% average. Winter wheat’s crop condition rating increased 2% to 27% g/e, 28% fair and 45% p/vp.

As of June 14, 95% of the nation’s spring wheat had emerged vs. 87% last week and 89% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating increased 3% to 55% g/e, 39% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of June 14, 94% of the nation’s corn had emerged vs. 86% last week and 93% average. Corn’s crop condition rating increased 1% to 68% g/e, 26% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of June 14, 95% of the nation’s soybeans were planted vs. 92% last week and 93% average. Soybean emergence was at 88% vs 79% last week and 82% average. Soybeans’ crop condition rating increased 1% to 66% g/e, 28% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of June 14, North Dakota’s canola emergence was at 86% vs. 65% last week and 71% average. Canola’s crop condition rating increased 16% to 74% g/e, 21% fair, and 5% p/vp.

As of June 14, 82% of the nation’s sunflowers were planted vs. 59% last week and 75% average. ND was 93% planted vs. 80% last week and 83% average. ND’s sunflower emergence was 56% vs. 35% last week and vs. 43% average. The ND sunflower initial crop condition rating was 62% g/e, 37% fair, and 1% p/vp.
