As of June 28, 32% of the nation’s spring wheat was headed vs. 16% last week and 34% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating increased 5% to 59% g/e, 34% fair, and 7% p/vp.


As of June 28, corn silking was at 9% vs. 5% last week and 6% average. Corn’s crop condition rating dropped 1% to 67% g/e, 25% fair, and 8% p/vp.


As of June 28, soybean emergence was at 96% vs 93% last week and 95% average. Blooming was at 19% vs. 9% last week and 15% average. Setting pods was at 4% vs. 2% average. Soybeans’ crop condition rating dropped 1% to 65% g/e, 27% fair, and 8% p/vp.


As of June 28, North Dakota’s canola blooming was at 25% vs. 7% last week and 29% average. Canola’s crop condition rating increased 3% to 67% g/e, 24% fair, and 9% p/vp.

As of June 28, North Dakota’s sunflower emergence was 94% vs. 80% last week and vs. 82% average. The sunflower crop condition rating increased 12% to 63% g/e, 33% fair, and 4% p/vp.
