As of June 29, the nation’s winter wheat crop was harvest was 37% complete vs. 19% last week and 42% average. The winter wheat crop condition rating decreased 1% to 48% g/e, 32% fair, and 20% p/vp.

As of June 29, spring wheat emergence was estimated at 96% vs 93% last week and 100% average. Spring wheat headed was at 38% vs. 17% last week and 37% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating decreased 1% to 53% g/e, 33% fair, and 14% p/vp.

As of June 29, corn silking was at 8% vs. 4% last week and 6% average. Corn’s crop condition rating increased 3% to 73% g/e, 22% fair, and 5% p/vp.

As of June 29, 96% of the nation’s soybean emergence was 94% vs. 90% last week and 95% average. Soybean blooming was at 17% vs. 8% last week and 16% average. Soybeans setting pods was at 3% vs. 2% average. The soybean crop condition rating was unchanged at 66% g/e, 27% fair, and 7% p/vp.

As of June 29, 97% of the nation’s sunflower crop was planted vs. 91% last week and 96% average. 98% of North Dakota’s sunflowers had been planted vs. 95% last week and 96% average. North Dakota’s sunflower crop condition rating increased 7% to 64% g/e, 32% fair, and 4% poor.

As of June 29, North Dakota’s canola crop condition rating increased 3% to 71% g/e, 24% fair, and 5% p/vp.
