As of June 7, 92% of the nation’s winter wheat was headed vs. 87% last week and 85% average. Winter wheat harvest was 11% complete vs. 35% last week and 6% average. Winter wheat’s crop condition rating decreased 1% to 25% g/e, 29% fair and 46% p/vp.

As of June 7, 98% of the nation’s spring wheat was planted vs. 94% last week and 95% average. Spring wheat emerged was at 87% vs. 72% last week and 80% average. Spring wheat’s crop condition rating increased 5% to 52% g/e, 42% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of June 7, 97% of the nation’s corn was planted vs. 93% last week and 96% average. Corn emerged was at 86% vs. 76% last week and 86% average. Corn’s crop condition rating was left unchanged at 67% g/e, 27% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of June 7, 92% of the nation’s soybeans were planted vs. 87% last week and 88% average. Soybean emergence was at 79% vs 65% last week and 71% average. Soybeans’ crop condition rating decreased 1% to 65% g/e, 29% fair, and 6% p/vp.

As of June 7, North Dakota’s canola was 95% planted vs. 84% last week and 88% average. Canola emergence was at 65% vs. 43% last week and 48% average. Canola’s initial crop condition rating was 58% g/e, 40% fair, and 2% p/vp.

As of June 7, 59% of the nation’s sunflowers were planted vs. 40% last week and 53% average. ND was 80% planted vs. 59% last week and 63% average. ND’s sunflower emergence was 35% vs. 20% average.
