As of May 10, 57% of the nation’s corn was planted vs. 38% last week and 52% average. ND is 25% planted vs. 20% average, MN is 68% planted vs. 55% average and SD is 53% planted vs. 43% average. Corn emerged is at 23% vs. 13% last week and 19% average.

As of May 10, 49% of the nation’s soybeans were planted vs. 33% last week and 36% average. ND is 16% planted vs. 11% average, MN is 51% planted vs. 33% average, and SD is 34% planted vs. 25% average. Soybean emergence is at 20% vs 13% last week and 12% average.
