As of September 6, winter wheat planting was 2% complete vs. 5% average.

As of September 6, spring wheat harvest was 86% complete vs. 77% last week and 83% average.

As of September 6, corn in dough was at 96% vs. 92% last week and 94% average. Corn dented was at 76% vs. 62% last week and 72% average. Mature corn was at 25% vs. 13% last week and 23% average. Corn harvested was 5% complete vs. 3% average. Corn’s crop condition rating was lowered 1% to 56% g/e, 27% fair, and 17% p/vp.

As of September 6, soybeans dropping leaves were at 26% vs. 13% last week and 20% average. Soybeans’ crop condition rating was left unchanged at 58% g/e, 29% fair, and 13% p/vp.

As of September 6, North Dakota’s canola coloring was at 96% vs. 93% last week and 96% average. Canola’s crop condition rating decreased 4% to 48% g/e, 37% fair, and 15% p/vp. Harvest was 48% complete vs. 33% last week and 44% average.

As of September 6, North Dakota’s sunflowers turning yellow were at 54% vs. 31% last week and 35% average. Sunflowers turning brown were at 15% vs. 9% average. The sunflower crop condition rating was left unchanged at 45% g/e, 43% fair, and 12% p/vp.
